I have a BA in
Broadcast Journalism from USC. My
first job was at the Rock Hill Station of ETV as a studio camera
operator. I worked there
for 8 ½ years, working my way up to a producer/director.
I worked on the Mary Long’s Yesteryear Series and several major
outreach projects on topics such as teen drinking and driving and
domestic violence. One of
my greatest accomplishments was a live program done with local teens
called THE ZONE, for which we won an Emmy.
After Rock Hill, I moved to Columbia to work for ETV as a
producer/director. I joined ITV in 1998.
Among other programs, I am the producer for Eye Wonder, which has won a
Telly Award and it one of the most popular locally produced programs on
ETV. My favorite
part of my job is directing live television!
I am married, my husband is a freelance
gaffer (lighting guy) for film and video.
We like to sail, canoe and go camping.
