A caring and qualified teaching workforce is essential for the success of our public schools, and for continued progress by our state. In South Carolina, we have many excellent teachers who elevate and invigorate the teaching profession. Some of these outstanding educators have been honored as our South Carolina Teacher of the Year and Honor Roll teachers. Others have received national recognition as Milken Educators.  In this edition of In Our Schools, we’ll hear from a group of competent and caring professionals who touch the lives of students every day…they are truly Teachers of Excellence.
