This animated series teaches children the basics of visual arts. The lessons show how well-known artists have used various techniques and challenge students to use the same skills to create their own "masterpieces." The concepts of line, shape, color, space, value, and texture are explained and demonstrated by a young artist named "Posie" and an animated pigeon named "Arty." (© 2000)
