Designed to help students see through the eyes of their peers how issues that affect them also affect others, this series aids in increasing the understanding that all students have of each other at a time when Western Europe is changing rapidly. The lessons present issues of contemporary concern-suburbanization, rural isolation, environmental degradation, immigration-and incorporate one of the five fundamental geographic themes (region, location, place, movement, and human/environmental interaction).
